# Sony 65" OLED 4K TV (2024) *Published: 2025-12-23 | Updated: 2025-12-23 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/sony-65"-oled-4k-tv-(2024)* --- **Brand:** Sony **Price Range:** $668 - $2196.99 across 20 retailers ## Pros - Stunning OLED display delivers incredibly deep blacks, vibrant colors, and impressive brightness, making every scene pop with lifelike detail and contrast. - Superior built-in sound system that often negates the immediate need for an external soundbar, providing clear and immersive audio. - Highly customizable picture settings for each HDMI input, allowing fine-tuning of brightness, contrast, color, and temperature to suit specific content or devices like the PlayStation 5. - Dolby Vision HDR significantly enhances streaming content with better highlights and dynamic range. - Smooth motion handling with minimal to no blur during fast-action scenes enhances the overall viewing experience. - Fast and intuitive Google TV interface offers seamless voice control and personalized content recommendations across popular streaming platforms. - Sleek, modern design fits elegantly into most living spaces without being bulky. - Quick and easy setup process that can be completed in under 10 minutes, including a straightforward Google account integration. - The TV is surprisingly lightweight compared to other premium OLED models, easing installation and wall mounting. ## Cons - The built-in Google operating system can suffer frequent sound dropouts, particularly during streaming on apps like Netflix, which is a commonly reported frustration. - Inconsistent cable set-top box control makes switching channels or sources less reliable. - The TV does not remember favorite channels for over-the-air broadcasts, reverting to a full channel list each time it powers on. - Heavy reliance on Google for all smart functionalities, including picture and sound settings, limits flexibility and raises privacy concerns due to required data agreements. - No option to use the TV strictly as a display without Google’s OS, which may disappoint users seeking a more traditional or offline TV experience. - Initial minor brightness discrepancies between different broadcast standards were reported but appeared to resolve after a few days. - Sound quality, while good, may still benefit from an external surround sound system for audiophiles or home theater enthusiasts. ## About This Product The sleek design and cinematic audio and visuals make BRAVIA 8 the perfect centerpiece for your living space. Pure OLED black and vibrant color brings out vibrant textures and astonishing realism in everything you watch. The screen is the speaker, delivering a totally unique and immersive theater-like sound that keeps you on the edge of your seat. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [BrandsMart USA](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/b3848545-3eb5-e944-c711-a412477d5500?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $668.00 | In Stock | 2026-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [oman.sharafdg.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/758a28a1-f75b-d863-d945-6adba8b350c6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1124.93 | In Stock | 2024-11-29 (may have changed) | | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/747027fa-49a6-7bc6-b7aa-3ff80e282558?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1474.44 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/bestbuy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/747c386e-8f7f-938d-7685-b6bf255da4c1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1499.99 | In Stock | 2025-11-28 (may have changed) | 15-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [retailers/microcenter](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/b7baf3cb-66a5-0a89-a94c-76e265019d9a?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1499.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-23 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/videoandaudiocenter](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/211810a8-e800-0415-4f27-268a04084d52?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1598.00 | In Stock | 2025-12-23 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/bhphotovideo](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/cd71e5a2-8cff-c7fd-0486-3c44d438771d?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1598.00 | In Stock | 2025-11-28 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [greentoe.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/4039ed3b-9c55-1d38-8b9e-6558743060e5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1599.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-28 (may have changed) | | | [abcwarehouse.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/8a59f6e2-b340-ddd5-563f-0025672b6e12?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1698.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-28 (may have changed) | | | [Abt Electronics](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/93e76969-1c01-70b7-8498-c147303baa2b?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1698.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-26 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Ubuy Many GEOs](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/0e71909b-dad4-d6c8-b5fd-07177cd0fb66?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1698.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-28 (may have changed) | | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/fea67573-0725-d031-7bdf-d40964f2b50d?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1698.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-28 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [WorldWideStereo](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/3dd4c647-cad9-0ff5-142c-ba0355139f60?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1698.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-30 (may have changed) | | | [queencityonline.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/fb887605-b919-8598-ceee-a70326ed5fb9?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1699.00 | In Stock | 2024-12-21 (may have changed) | | | [RC Willey](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/c3e26db1-3a9d-b3bf-d00f-ce7b67a48ec2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1699.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-29 (may have changed) | | | [Beach Trading Co.](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/afa4b0f4-ee28-896a-4c57-fe7e21f2925f?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1896.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-26 (may have changed) | | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/cf4b23a2-c095-bdc6-9300-b549bcf01dce?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1938.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-26 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [Crutchfield](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/95d574b3-0b04-0959-bb20-894b114f1ef6/offers/c021e534-d61a-bda8-97f3-1443499123fc?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1998.00 | In Stock | 2024-11-28 (may have changed) | 60-day returns | | [P.C.
